There are monsters in my books.
Hauntings. Vampires. Werewolves. Golems. Legions. Witches. Creatures that have no place beyond nightmares and ancient stories.
But the monsters have never frightened me as much as people have. We can dismiss monsters as mere stories, but dismissing human cruelty is far more difficult.
